Disaster Declaration

NOTICE OF DISASTER DECLARATION

 

On April 19, 2026, the Town of Milton passed a Disaster Declaration in response to the April 17, 2026, rainstorm, which produced damaging rains, hail, wind, and flash flooding.

The purpose of this declaration is to underscore the importance of considering the situational impacts on residents and their homes. After site evaluations and consultations with Rock County Emergency Management and the National Guard, it has been determined that water and river levels, as well as crest impacts, will require ongoing monitoring.
